Alain Bergeron co-founded SYRUS in 2013 with a clear ambition: to offer his clients an approach that bridges business strategy and strategic communications, tailored to their unique business needs and realities.
Leveraging more than 35 years of experience in reputation management, stakeholder relations, and complex issue resolution, Alain excels at positioning communications as a strategic lever to drive business objectives and fuel organizational success. Driven by a conviction that unique challenges benefit from bespoke solutions, he approaches each mandate with agility and precision, complemented by his hallmark commitment and candor.
Before founding SYRUS, Alain led the communications departments of several flagship Canadian companies and spearheaded complex strategies in labour relations, investor relations (including a Crown corporation’s initial public offering), crisis management, mergers and acquisitions, comprehensive brand overhauls, and large-scale reorganizations.
A highly versatile professional, Alain has worked across various sectors, including transportation, tourism, media, aerospace, pharmaceuticals, mining, finance, and advertising.
Alain combines his business expertise with his personal passions by serving on the boards of Tennis Québec and the Atlantic Salmon Federation. Outside the office, he can be found spending time with his family, fishing, hunting, or playing tennis.
